Darren Hagen

Darren is fast making his mark in USAC racing since he began racing sprint cars at age 15 and midgets at age 16. His impressive list of wins includes the Chili Bowl and at Manzanita Speedway in the midgets and the famed Kokomo Speedway and Anderson Speedway in sprint cars.

He made USAC history in 2005 when he earned “Rookie of the Year” for both the USAC National Midget Series and Sprint Car Series in the same season.

He was 2006’s “Hut Hundred” National Midget Champion at Terre Haute Action Track, and has earned the title of “The Fastest Sprint Car Driver in the World” by turning a lap of 146.145 mph at the newly opened Iowa Speedway.

Beyond racing, Darren graduated with honors one year early from Woodcrest Christian High School, in his hometown of Riverside, California.

When Darren is not racing or training, he enjoys spending time with his family, attending church, golfing, playing billiards, and fishing.
